I have recently learned that Darrel and Pat Townsend, the current manages of Kings Bromley Marina, are leaving their employment there in the near future.
NB Norfolk has been moored at Kings Bromley Marina for over a year now. It is a syndicate owned boat, with thirteen shareholdings. As a chair of the syndicate, I have found it necessary to contact the marina on several occasions to request help or advice with particular issues, which sometimes need to be dealt with by the syndicate officers rather than by individual shareholders.
In all my dealings with both Darrel and Pat, either in my capacity as syndicate chair or as an individual moorer, I have always found them to be very helpful, patient and friendly and particularly able to grasp the particular issues, which syndicate ownership can pose. All of our syndicate members have been impressed with the organisation of the marina and very happy to continue mooring there.
Of course, we wish Darrel and Pat well in the future but we also wanted to make you aware of our views about their management of the marina.
